Goals of this initiative:
- Support senior postdocs/early career scientists by providing a platform to present their research and network with BMRI faculty and trainees
- Particularly interested in supporting scholars from underrepresented backgrounds
Eligibility: Nominees must be
- Late-stage postdoc or non-independent scientists currently applying or planning to apply for faculty jobs this year, OR
- Early career scientists (Assistant Professor or equivalent) who transitioned to independence in the last 2 years
Note: Postdoctoral fellows not entering the academic faculty job market are not eligible.
Nomination materials:
- Nomination form
- Current CV or NIH Biosketch, up to 5 pages
- Talk title and research summary/abstract (up to 350 words)
- Optional: may include one figure illustrating the most significant results of your research (graphical abstract)
Nominations for the 2024-2025 lecture series will be open from April 10th, 2024 through July 15th, 2024.
